Saturday at Suzuka went along as planned, with little to no sign of the dreaded Typhoon. However, it is expected to make tomorrow's race super wet and windy.

Before this session got underway, there was confirmed news of Sebastian Vettel leaving Red Bull at the end of this season. Replacing him in 2015? Rookie, Daniil Kvyat. Where is Vettel headed? This session went OK, with minimal issues, except for Hamilton, who crashed out of the session but is unharmed. There were also a few problems with Vettel's car and Raikkonen's Ferrari, as well.
