Japanese GP: Circuit Preview

The teams continue the season in Asia for the Japanese GP and with it being a back-to-back race weekend, there's little time for preperation. Now, it's time to take a look at the circuit

    The "Suzuka International Racing Course" (Also known as Suzuka Circuit), is located in Suzuka, Mie Prefecture, Japan. The circuit opened back in 1962 and is one of the older circuits on the calendar, although not the oldest. The current version has a capacity of 155,000 & is 3.609 Miles in length. It has a total of 17 turns and is the only circuit to run both Clockwise and Counter-Clockwise.

    Like this year, last year, Nico Rosberg took Pole. However, it was Lewis Hamilton who won the race, while Rosberg ended up finishing in Second. Sebastian Vettel finished in third.

    Retirements included: Fernando Alonso (Electronics), Adrian Sutil (Accident) & Jules Bianchi (Fatal Accident)

    No one has forgotten Jules Bianchi and the race this weekend will be a more somber event, with everyone still thinking of what happened last year. Safety has been improved, but there's still a chance of rain for the race, so everyone will be taking extra precautions to stay safe.
