Schumacher back home after Ski Accident

Following a horrific skiing accident last December, Michael Schumacher has now returned home to continue rehab treatment. Schumacher spent the last 9 months in hospitals. 6 of those months were spent in France, where the accident had taken place. He was placed in an induced-coma following surgery on his brain to reduce bleeding and swelling.

He was taken out of the coma on June 16th and transferred to a different hospital in Switzerland. While his personal manager, Sabine Kehm has confirmed he is progressing with his recovery, there has been no statement on the current "Status" of his health.

While the world is overjoyed with the news of Michael returning home, his family continues to ask for privacy regarding the situation. We will only continue to post confirmed information & refuse to make speculations on the subject in respect of Michael and his family.

Update On Michael Schumacher

7-Time-World-Champion, Michael Schumacher is still going through what is called a "Wake-Up Phase" - From an induced medicinal coma. The Ex-F1 Champion was in a Skiing accident back in December, and it resulted in traumatic brain injury, including blood clots and possible brain damage.

After a few weeks and the worst had passed, everyone is now awaiting the day Michael wakes from the induced-coma. This phase can take weeks and possibly even months due to the intensity and extent of the injury.

His wife, children and close friends in and out of Formula 1 have been visiting him regularly. Even Felipe Massa went to visit Michael and said things look "Positive"

Our prayers and thoughts continue to be with Michael and his family during this horrible and tough time.

Michael Schumacher in Critical Condition after Ski accident.

7-Time-World-Champion Michael Schumacher was taken to Grenoble in France after a serious accident while skiing with his son in the French Alps. The retired Formula 1 driver, 44, fell and severely hit the left side of his head and in a result was airlifted to a nearby hospital before being transfered to Grenoble.

He underwent his first surgery the same day and was placed in an artificial coma. The surgery was to help relieve pressure and get rid of any clots or hematomas.

Michael today remains in a very critical condition after a second surgery but is seeming to be showing a few signs of improvement.

Formula 1 drivers and other celebrity pals of Schumacher have tweeted and/or made public statements to address Michaels condition and share their thoughts and prayers.

I am also giving my thoughts and prayers to Michael and his family in this tough time. We hope he gets well soon and makes a grand recovery.

More updates to come tomorrow.
