Feature: Abu Dhabi GP - Our Post-Race Quotes

Frances Fry - "As the last event of the season I wasn't looking forward to this race being over. If I had my way there would be races every weekend but teams need breaks as much as you and me.

Abu Dhabi sure sent the season out with a bang! From lights out positions were being battled for. Most recognisably out front as Hamilton, who qualified second, overtook his teammate and championship rival, Nico Rosberg, who had qualified on pole. For a few laps, the final battle was exactly how fans wanted it. They were both after that win. However, not too far into the race, Rosberg reported power loss and the team informed him there had been a failure in his ERS, giving him a loss of 160 horse power. Looking at this figure, it's no surprise Rosberg ended up finishing in 13th place, lapped by Hamilton.

With only  several laps left Mercedes told Rosberg that they had cleared a gap in his garage for his car and for him to retire it. Rosberg told them he would like to finish the race and he went on struggling to keep places. By pushing on Rosberg displayed his true commitment not only to the team, but to himself. It was very admirable.

However, you cannot deny Hamilton of his victory. He won 11 of the 19 rounds this year and he deserved the title as much as Rosberg, even though he didn't really have to fight for his final win."

Amy Hawk - "What a wild last race. First off - My congratulations to Lewis, Felipe and Valtteri! What a splendid way to their end of the season. Mercedes did such a great job this year, with multiple strong performances all season.

Force India also had a spectacular last race with both drivers finishing in the top 10. I wish the same could have happened for Sauber. They tried so hard all season, but unfortunately it didn't work out.

It's quite a shame that we didn't get to see too much of a battle between Lewis and Nico (Rosberg) - As Nico had so many severe car issues.. But overall, it's been a great season and Abu Dhabi is one of my favourite tracks.

I'm already looking forward to next year. Cheers!"
