Abu Dhabi GP: Circuit Preview

The "Yas Marina Circuit" currently hosts the last race on the F1 calendar and is located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The circuit is one of the newer ones on the calendar, having just opened in 2009. 

    The circuit runs anti-clockwise and has 21 turns. It has a capacity of 50,000 & is 3.451 miles in length and the race runs for 55 laps.

    In 2014, Nico Rosberg got pole position but lost out on the win to Lewis Hamilton. Felipe Massa came in Second and Valtteri Bottas got Third, making it a double-podium for Williams F1 Team. Retirements included: Daniil Kvyat (Driveshaft), Pastor Maldonado (Engine), & Kamui Kobayashi (Vibration).
