Hungarian GP: Qualifying - Re-Cap & Results

HUNGARIAN GP - QUALIFYING - RE-CAP & RESULTS

    Sebastian Vettel has secured pole position ahead of Hungarian Grand Prix and it's a full Ferrari front row lock-out. Paul di Resta will race for Williams in place of the unwell Felipe Massa and it will be the first time di Resta has raced in F1 since 2013 when he was part of Force India's line-up.

    Nico Hulkenberg and Daniil Kvyat have both received grid penalties. Hulkenberg for an unscheduled gearbox change and Kvyat for impeding during the session. 

HOW IT WORKS:

Q1 = 18 minutes. All cars allowed to go out. At the end of the session, the five slowest are eliminated.

Q2 = 15 minutes. The remaining cars go out. At the end of the session, the five slowest are eliminated.

Q3 = 12 minutes. Final 10 cars go out. The final order at the end of the session is how the grid will line up. Fastest car starts from Pole Position.
