Hungary Circuit Preview + 2013 Look-Back
The Hungaroring will be the last circuit that the drivers visit before Summer Break. The 2.722 mile circuit is located in Mogyoród, Hungary and first opened in 1986. It's got a total of 16 turns and it's a 70 lap race. Like most, the Hungaroring runs Clockwise. The current capacity is around 70,000. This weekend, the drivers will be using the Medium and Soft compound tyres and making probably 2 pit-stops depending on the team strategies.
The 2013 Hungarian GP saw Lewis Hamilton start on pole and finish the race in First. Kimi Raikkonen, then driving for Lotus, finished in Second, while Sebastian Vettel came in 3rd.
There was a total of 3 retirements, including: Valtteri Bottas, Adrian Sutil and Esteban Gutierrez. Both Bottas and Sutil suffered from Hydraulics issues while Gutierrez had a transmission failure.
