Australian GP: Free Practice 2 - Re-Cap & Results

More work and more drama during Free Practice 2 earlier on today. The teams were busy working on the cars, of course, to make sure they were ready and working for the session. Unfortunately, due to mechanical issues, both Massa and Ricciardo missed this session. Massa due to a water leak and Ricciardo due to needing an engine change.

Manor sat out this session as well as they continue to develop and work on their 2015 car. Everyone has to remember that they didn't make it to testing, so they need every bit of time they can get to work on these cars.

Sauber however did get out in this session, with Nasr and Ericsson behind the wheels. Not Van Der Garde, who is still in the midst of a legal battle with Sauber, fighting for a race seat for the Australian Grand Prix this Sunday. However, because he has not obtained a super license, it's looking more like he will race in Malaysia.

McLaren is facing more issues and more work, unfortunately. It's not been a good start for the Honda-powered team. Kevin Magnussen was out of the session early after he made a mistake and crashed into the barriers.
