BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX - FREE PRACTICE #2

    Mercedes once again dominated the top of the time sheets with Rosberg in 1st and Hamilton in 2nd. However, in this session, it was not a Ferrari rounding up the top 3. Instead it was a McLaren. Jenson Button finished in 3rd. Vandoorne, who is replacing Alonso this weekend, finished the session in 11th.

    Ferrari did have a decent session with Raikkonen and Vettel both finishing in the top 10. However, Vettel's session was ended early when a loose tyre caused him to have to stop on track.

    Another driver who faced mechanical issues was Romain Grosjean in the Ferrari-powered Haas. After hitting the kerbs a bit too hard, his front wing snapped and he 

had to head back to the pits.

    Kevin Magnussen will be starting the Bahrain GP from the pit-lane after failing to due a required weigh check during the session. It was said that Kvyat had taken the weight check by accident, and as a result, Magnussen never got one. However, the FIA decided a punishment would be put in place.
