ITALIAN GP - FREE PRACTICE #2 - RE-CAP & TIMES
While September 1st was Carlos Sainz's birthday, there wasn't much to celebrate on track as his Toro Rosso stopped with and engine issue. Sainz finished the session in 11th with a 1:23.150. Team-mate, Kvyat, finished further down in 18th with a 1:24.253.
Nico Hulkenberg missed the closing parts of the session due to a hydraulics issue but was still able to set the 12th fastest time: a 1:23.272. Jolyon Palmer was right behind in 13th with a 1:23.317.
Kevin Magnussen had to stop during the session after going over kerbing that damaged his front suspension. He ended in 17th with a 1:23.650 while Grosjean was one place ahead with a 1:23.567.
