More bad luck for Sebastian Vettel who had to sit out almost the whole second session, due to a needed engine change. However, the Red Bull team was quick to get him back out with just under 10 minutes left. He made good use of the remaining time and slotted into 5th on his first lap.

Also unlucky was Pastor Maldonado, who had a pretty nasty crash which left the whole right side of his Lotus mashed into the walls. Driver OK, but we can confirm the car needed a whole new Chassis for today.

We saw a few more issues, mostly drivers having a huge lack of downforce. Chilton suffered a small fire and had to pull off at an exit and end his session. He bad been mentioning to the team that he only had main engine, but no turbo and that the turbo was instead, making a "Weird noise".
