British GP: Free Practice 2 - Re-Cap & Results

Free Practice 2 brought more fast times, more sunny weather and also a few Red Flags.

Bottas, Grosjean and Ericsson returned to their cars after handing them over to Wolff, Palmer & Marciello respectively. Grosjean experienced some car issues and ended up in the gravel, causing the first Red Flag of the session.

Alonso also went off briefly but was able to drive through and onto the grass before getting back on track. However, the session was Red Flagged again with around 15 minutes left when Merhi spun and was still half-on the track. 

Ferrari took over the time sheets, despite Rosberg finishing the session in 1st. It was not a Mercedes 1-2. Raikkonen and Vettel were up at the top instead while Hamilton finished in 4th.
