Hungarian GP: Free Practice 2 - Re-Cap & Results

More lovely weather in the Second practice session. The sun continued to glow around the circuit and the heat was quite intense.

Force India chose not to run in this session while they investigated the cause behind Sergio Perez's FP1 crash. The team decided it was safest if Hulkenberg did not run, even though his car had been fine in the beginning of the first session. 

Thankfully there were no accidents in this session. However there was a Red Flag when Daniel Ricciardo's Red Bull began smoking. There was a loud 'Popping' noise and he quickly pulled the car over in an area of grass. He had suffered an engine/power unit failure. However, he will not take a penalty.
