Bahrain GP: Circuit Preview


It's almost time for Round 4 of the 2015 F1 Season and the teams are going to be racing in Bahrain.

The "Bahrain International Circuit" is located in Sakhir, Bahrain and first opened March 17th 2004. It is the site for multiple motorsport events including F1 and GP2. The current circuit layout has 15 turns and is 3.363 miles in length. It runs Clockwise and has a capacity of 70,000. The race will consist of 57 laps.

In 2014, Nico Rosberg took Pole Position for the race but it was his team-mate Lewis Hamilton who won the race, with Rosberg coming in a close second. Force India driver, Sergio Perez, celebrated his first podium with the team when he finished 3rd.

Retirements included: Jenson Button (Clutch), Kevin Magnussen (Clutch),Esteban Gutierrez (Collision), Jean-Eric Vergne (Collision), Marcus Ericsson (Oil Leak) and Adrian Sutil (Collision)
