As Formula 1 heads back over to Europe, it's time to take a look at the next circuit. An inconic one that was re-introduced to us just last year.
The "Red Bull Ring" (Formerly known & Founded as Osterreichring) is located in Spielberg, Styria, Austria and is host to the 8th round of the 2015 Formula 1 Calendar. The circuit is 2.688 miles in length and is one of the shorter circuits & only has a total of 9 turns, also making it one of the fastest. It first opened back in 1969 & has a capacity of around 40,000. It also runs clockwise & the race will consist of 71 laps.
Last year's race saw Felipe Massa take Pole Position but the Brazilian missed out on a podium. Instead, Nico Rosberg won while Hamilton finished second and young Finish driver, Valtteri Bottas, finished third.
Retirements included: Daniil Kvyat (Suspension Failure), Sebastian Vettel (Electronics) & Jean-Eric Vergne (Brake Failure).
